George G. Caballero practices general civil law and focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury, wills, and successions. George joined Beall & Thies as of counsel in 2017 after starting Caballero Law Firm in 1993. Mr. Caballero has over thirty years of experience as an attorney and has served clients in various matters ranging from business and tort litigation, business, family law, and successions.
Mr. Caballero is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Mississippi College School of Law. Upon graduation, he immediately went into the private practice of law, practicing in both Louisiana and Mississippi.
Mr. Caballero is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Mississippi and has an “AV” Preeminent rating, the highest rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating service.
He is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Mississippi Bar Associations. George is a Triple Century Club member, having donated more than 300 hours of pro bono legal service in the Baton Rouge area.
Mr. Caballero is the past chair of the Baton Rouge Pro Bono Project. George is a former member of the American Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Justice (formerly serving on the LAJ’s Board of Governors). Mr. Caballero is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana and Mississippi and the United States District Court for Louisiana’s Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts.
Mr. Caballero served as a volunteer Arbitrator in Baton Rouge City Court for many years presiding over small claims where the parties agreed to binding arbitration. In law school, he organized an internship through the Jackson, MS City court in which he prosecuted cases weekly as a law student.
Whenever he is not practicing law, Mr. Caballero spends his free time with his wife, two children, and a yellow Labrador retriever. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and trying to attend as many LSU baseball games as possible.
